I ordered a Lariot on Dec 30th. It has all the bells and whistles. I received a call from my dealership yesterday telling me they have to remove the SPLASH GUARDS and PROTECTIVE FILM as FORD has run out of these parts. He seemed confident that my MAV will be built in August and arrive at the dealership in Sept. He said truck will still be a 2022 model. Anyone else had to cancel the above restraints. I sure hope the salesman is as confident as I am

Drop the Splash Guards for sure - From everything I've read not the best option to be putting on - ordered November 2021 - XL Eco with splash guards and the PPF - drop in liner ,hitch , window guards - heard a rumour a couple months back and removed splash guards immediately. Truck was built within a month after and now in transport.

Splash guards were a known constraint in June of 2021, 3 months before the trucks were even to be built! We dropped the spray in liner and flaps back then when I ordered.

My advice drop anything that is a constraint that you can easily add afterwards like spray in bed liners, splash guards, weather mats, etc.

Yes. Absolutely drop the splash guards and film and any other option that can be added back after delivery. These have been holding up production for nearly a year now.

This. Don't hold your truck up for things you can put on later. I dropped a bunch of little stuff that would have been convenient for the dealer to add but not necessary and just stuck to the stuff I could only get from the factory.

Once I get the truck I'll decide what I really need and go from there.

Fordvideoguy just posted this list in another thread. Sounds like the lower the value the more constrained.

Floor mats for sure. The ones i just got the dealer had to get from another dealer 50 miles away that happened to have them. Even for dealer stock theyre 2-3 month wait time.

Bought my floormats from ford with the 20% off accessories discount last year - just wish I had the truck already. Still waiting patiently.
