New Area 51 XL Maverick

Well finally got the Area 51
Mav today Ordered 2nd day books were open sept 2022. MSRP Only add-on ford 360, No ADM , no up charges except DOC fee . Tried 2 other ford dealers one wanted 899$ doc fee NC limit on doc fees $900) other had no doc fees but ADM of 3K . Went with Crescent Ford High Point ( where I got my first car in 1980) great communication start to finish . Now like Remo Williams the Adventure Begins .

You should have taken advantage of X plan
Easily obtained by joining Mustangs of America Club $35 for a year after 90 days qualify for X plan ..... one benifit of it is Doc fee can not be more then $100
For me I saved $300-400 off price and $2750 private offer from Ford
plus doc fee was on $75 vs the dealers normal $550

I am wondering if the promised FIT kits will still arrive LMAO...
I'd rather have a free Yeti!!!

PRIVATE offer was given to people who's orders weren't built that were MY22 ( model year 22 that Ford move or replaced with a new order MY23. These offers were only offered to those people by Ford. If you fall into that situation maybe you have an offer.
My original order was 9-40-21 for a MY22.
X plan had to be mentioned at time of ordering and the dealer willing to honor it.
unfurtunately I doubt you can get that now after the fact AND there almost no way you have a 90 window to qualify for it unless you already are eligable through other sources employer Ford related entities etc....

I knew I wanted a maverick and order it..... waited saw the delays new I needed top dollar for my Trade at that point .... new 2 years later my original trade would be worth less lol...
What I did do was found one in April of 22 that someone turned down and I paid a premium of $5000 over MSRP to purchase it.
it was an XLT Hybrid. Almost my build but didn't have the Luxury Package.
I drove it put almost 15000 miles on it
Wasn't completely sure my order would ever get built
January 2023 found a Lariat Hybrid and decided to buy it.
Again at $5000 over MSRP.
I did do pretty good on my trade in .( slightly more then I paid )
Then after regeistering my Lariat low and be hold my original build happened
I thought about it and decided I
" personal choice" liked the XLT Better, knew my pricing was better and was exactly what I wanted.
Sold my Lariat with 2500 miles on it for almost what I paid. When my ordered Macerick was shipped and I tracked it to being in Kansas City.
At literally 19 months to the day I purchased my "original order" almost lol
At a great price.
Flipping No and I take offense to that.
Being smart making my money work for me, buying a Diamond in the rough (a Hybrid )enjoying it being smart trading and not taking a bath is what I did.

The MTC is the best! I’m wondering if you might be the winner for owning the most number of Mavericks so far!

From my signature you can see I have been spoiled with my loaded FE Lariat Unicorn. Except for color, a tonneau cover I have a hard time latching and window deflectors I love everything about it. I could take or leave the decals and I won’t miss the heat absorbing black roof in FL. So my 23 order is basically the same minus FE decals, window deflectors, tonneau and remote start AND it will be the color I wanted originally, Area51

I ordered the SIBL because I didn’t want to have to leave it at a shop for LineX. I am planning on tailgate letters and hood deflector again but might skip the side mirror caps although I thought they made my truck look better than the FE black ones. As soon as I decide on a truck name I plan on getting that little cubby cover on Etsy. I’ll have to see after that as I don’t want to go overboard.

I am curious about dirt showing on the Area51. Is it bad or not very noticeable? I don’t really have the time to wash my truck every week and it is garaged half the time.
