My score is 814, wife's is 834. Still got a 7.99% interest rate from FordCredit. No negotiating was allowed. Take it or leave it.Oh my God.Finally someone else who understands the value of making car payments to yourself. I did that but started back in 1987. I had a 24-month loan on a brand new Taurus at 1.9% financing. I financed as much as I could. Due to the fact that I was doing fine making that car payment after I paid it off with Ford Motor Credit I told my credit union to deduct the same amount out of my check so I never saw it what right into my credit union account. I've always had the ability to pay cash I.E. self finance a vehicle. If I could get financing for less interest than what I was earning on my money I always used their money.
With an 850 FICO score you can usually negotiate some pretty good interest rates.
when? they were that high for a while, but should not be currently that high for super-prime (>785).My score is 814, wife's is 834. Still got a 7.99% interest rate from FordCredit. No negotiating was allowed. Take it or leave it.
Last week.when? they were that high for a while, but should not be currently that high for super-prime (>785).
that is pretty crazy and to me it implies that they are not looking to grow the portfolio, since the bank rate is 4.5% and there are many prime lenders way under 7.99 now.Last week.
