Did you also do the reset procedure via Forscan? Service manual says it's required if the sensor is replaced.
How does one go about reset procedure after replacing the sensor?

I believe it's available in Forscan under the service procedures.

Do you have access to the service manual and if you do could you be so kind as to let me know what it says about this topic? 🙏

Thank you so much. I was hoping I could do the reset in FORSCAN, but clearly I can't. Thanks for your help.
You should be able to. It doesn't call out Forscan because that's unofficial software. I'll check later today when I'm driving and report back.

Looks like it's possible from the android version.

You're right, thanks! Just did the reset and still no dice. I'm going to try another sensor and then if that doesn't work I'm just going to have to pay the dealership to fix this. Not having AC in the summer is brutal

Wiring issue maybe? Might want to pull the code if you haven't already.

Haha that's what I've been doing for almost a year now. That WD60 (windows down, 60mph) only does so much in a LA summer

Thanks to the help of everyone in this thread I was finally able to fix the problem!

I bought a new sensor from that Amazon link that was provided for $10. Soldered it in place and heat shrank the wires. Started up the truck and immediately had a temperature reading on the dashboard. I let the truck run for about ten minutes and the check engine light was still on so I didn't try running the AC yet. I then used Forscan to reset the DTC's and and ever since then the check engine light's been off and my AC is pumping out ice cold air. Man what a relief! Hopefully this repair holds long term 🤞

Thanks again everyone for all your help.
