your having the engine replaced ?

I work at a truck accessories shop and I have yet to see anything other than a rolling or tri-fold for the Maverick available. I just bought a Bakflip MX4 for my Lobo.

You don’t have to worry about a solution I’ll have the dent taken out. I posted just to make sure no one else did the same as I did and ended up with a dent too.

The bolt being too long caused the little dent which eventually cracked the clear coat called a spider crack.

unfortunately it spider cracked so not sure the fix.

I bought shorter screws when I noticed the issue. I still need to get a PDR guy to remove the small dent.

I purchased an under hood mat from them and the lower screws were long and pushed dents into the top of the hood. Even put the the screws in by hand. Be careful if you buy an under hood mat.

I spray bed liners for a living and always spray that area under the rear window. Anything other than black if you don’t spray it you see the factory paint and it just looks bad in my opinion. We also install bed covers and have never had any issues.

The ultra flex is a trifold just like the Bakflip MX4 the flex is just the name. sorry about the pricing almost all the ones we have start at around $1100 unless it’s a soft cover like a Truxedo.

For shorter folks and some women like the BackFlip X4 that’s a roll up but rolls up on top and not into a canister up front under the cover. And it’s easier to roll fully open from the side of the truck than the tri fold. as for the canister space I’ve never measured one for specific Maverick...
