Sounds like the old 73 f250 i should have never sold. 460ci with a 4 speed manual. it had the "G" Granny gear. 0-60 in 5 business days but would pull anything. I miss the simplicity!

Lol yeah for sure! It was not fast but yes, simple indeed. A lot of cars and trucks I wish I still had!

I won't lie, my first thoughts on this thread were "How can he make it look like something from the 80's?"

I've also heard tales of a device called a "Walkman" and something about a "Floppy Disk"?? You guys know anything about this?

Despite Ford marketing thinking the Mavericks would primarily be bought by people who weren't yet a twinkle in the prior millennium, most Maverick owners might actually consider the 40's to be vintage... Vintage is defined as something older than you are...

yep there's many out there that couldn't tell you what time it is from an analog clock, wouldn't know what to do with a rotary dial phone and could not fathom what a party line was. Ha, but heck, I have to get my grandkids with cellphone & computer stuff. The world move on I reckon.
