Glad to hear of your positive experience with your Maverick. Since you have an AWD I am curious if you have a clunk or thud noise coming from the rear when braking? It happens on mine like clockwork when I'm slowing down and hit 13 mph. I'm positive mine didn't do it when it was new but has started doing it in the last few months. I have a 25 Hybrid AWD but I've seen others with EB AWD mention they hear the noise too. Here is a thread I started which has some more info if your interested. Also @Cherokee do you notice this noise on your AWD EB? If I turn traction control off the noise magically disappears too so not sure what to make of it but it sure doesn't sound normal or good.

I have not noticed it as yet, but I only have 7K on the truck after 2 years.

Nice Thread!
"Blu" will be with Me, Three years, December 17th.
Three Oil Changes and NO Major issues 😎

Only thing is that, I have started to "Touch Up" the corrosion spots on the underside. Just, the edges around some of the frame suspension components. About, 7 spots..
Milwaukee, needs to go on a "Salt-free" diet.. At this rate... "Lake" Michigan, will be a "SEA" pretty soon.. ☹

Ordered my 2022 Lariat FX4 with 4K tow pkg on Nov 4, 2021. My "2023" was delivered on Jan 14, 2023. Will turn 26K miles this week (Avg 9750 miles per year). I must say she has exceeded my expectations to this point. Comfy ride, plenty of pep with the 250hp Eco Boost turbo engine. Actually much quicker than expected just running 87 octane (91 if I'm pulling my teardrop camper in the Texas heat). Tires still look new. I do miss my Genesis Coupe that was pulling about 375hp when I need to pass three 18 wheelers on a two-lane blacktop in about 6 seconds :) Overall a great buy and it will be paid off on Jan 14, 2026 ;)

Title says it all, really. In a week I will have had my Mav two years. I waited a year for it. During the wait I wondered if it was worth it to wait this long for any vehicle, but I can say now it was worth every minute. At that time I was hardly the only one waiting this long. It was very much an active topic here and, as they say, misery loves company.

All recalls have been performed and the only issue was the factory AGM battery was defective from the git go and was replaced by the dealer under warranty 6 months or so in. The auto start stop now works as intended, not that I necessarily a fan of it, but I tend to use it as a barometer of battery health. A few other gripes have been addressed as well. The screen is so much brighter and clearer now with the update. The backup camera works as it is supposed to and at night the brighter screen and LED backups make backing up at night much easier and safer.

The truck runs so strong and loves the 91 Octane E-Free gas. I get an extra 3 mpg or so with it so that helps offset a little of the added cost. More power and no more low RPM lugging is the biggest bonus.

I credit this forum for keeping me well informed and updated back in the pre ordering days of 2022. Kudos to all here. Cheers.
I can echo much of what you say. I've had my 2023 since May of 2023 and beyond a few (very few) minor issues, my Cyber Orange XLT has been one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. My 1981 Ford Mustang was a disaster and I swore I would never own another Ford. The Maverick has changed all of that. It's a joy to drive and while I could have lived without the turbo, it IS fun to drive! My only Ford dealership provides free oil changes for life. So, all I'm now paying for is gas and insurance. Not too shabby. Enjoy the ride!

Living in salt country, as I do as well, a good undercoating should be considered.
I tried to use my wire brush, but it was to restricting..
So, my Dremel Tool with a wire wheel worked fine... I did chew-up the few wheels that I had in doing so.. Just had enough 😬 to finish the backside... (a new PACK of them, just arrived today in the mail.) :)
I than hit the spots with a Heavy Primer...

I also gave the Mabett cover, that I installed while I was under there, a couple of good shots with that primer...
