Had 24 Lariat Hybrid that I purchased in Feb of 2024, it was good to me, but that sync 3 chapped my ass.
I wanted a 25, and so I traded the 24 and bought it. Dealer gave me $29,200 which broke me even on what was owed, and I bought an XLT EcoBoost this time around at $33,200 (after a dealer discount, and first responders discount).
Didn't care about or use half the stuff in my 24 Lariat, so I knew the XLT would fit the bill just fine for me.
I'm loving the EB so far, it flat out moves, and I surprisingly don't miss the hybrid. I'm more of a pedal to the metal kind of girl, so the EB is 4 me!
Anyway I'm looking to add a tonneau cover, spray bedliner, mud flaps, black lettering on tailgate and that's all folks. I took all of the accessories I had in my 24 and just switched them over, so not much to do there.
XLT AWD came with the black package, tow package, XLT lux package, and co pilot 360.

Congratulations on your new Maverick. You are going to appreciate those cloth seats and the upgrades on the 25 model. Hope the sync 4 works out well for you. Very nice looking truck.

Thank you, and you're right! I am one of those people that prefer cloth seats, so that was actually an "upgrade" for me.

that is a screaming deal considering list price with the above is $37,435. in Texas, I doubt you'll use the steering wheel or seat heaters much, but it does also give you a better steering wheel, power driver's seat, and 400w power inverter in the back of the center armrest console.

I thought I made out pretty nice, hell I was shocked. I hurried up, signed, and got my ass out of there expeditiously 😂

Congrats. Totally agree on the cloth seats.

Did you have dinner at Abuelo's to celebrate? (I used to frequent a beer place off that same parking lot, so I know the area  )

If she is coming from a Lariat hybrid (FWD) she had that on her 24. She gained horsepower, torque, 8 speed transmission , higher ground clearance, improved suspension just going to a Ecoboost and AWD. The 4k tow package gives her a transmission cooler, upgraded fan, conventional spare, high capacity radiator, brake controller and a 7 pin connector. So theoretically it should ride better, handle better, have more power and increase her towing capabilities. Even though coming from a Lariat I think she is moving up. It sounds like a very nice truck, a good deal and she gets a larger infotainment screen, and sync 4 which she was wanting. 👍

only real losses are B&O audio and adaptive cruise. I've been in DFW and there are many times the traffic is too dense for ACC. (cars will just cut in front of you with the minimum follow distance.)

if she wants better sound, there's lots of ways to do that and B&O isn't that great anyway. (I had it, and replaced everything but the amp, lol.)

Yep there are a few other difference, sound deadening windshield, sound insulation, vinyl seats or active wear, fake leather depending on what you want to call it. Edit forgot the Lariat has separate daylight running lights. All in all, I think she will be happy with her new truck and the decision she made. At least her posts sure reads that way. The 25 sounds like a whole lot more truck and versatility with the way it's equipped.

I definitely feel like I upgraded to be honest. Also I guess with having a Lariat as my first one, it gave me a chance to really know what I used and what I could live without.
