Hillsboro to Devine = half the size of Texas drive, left out Austin and San Antonio metros unless took hilly backroads which are fun in a fun little truck.
How was driving on the sandy beaches of south padre island ? got free for life passes to national parks. Want to use it.

Bummer they are calling the launch off at 10seconds. Minor issues but enough to call off.

Yup but overall I can’t say the trip was a wash. Got to spend one on one with my youngest and she’s now interested in space so it’s a win win. Hopefully I can get her to a launch she was really bummed

Tomorrow we are making a cross Florida trip from Clearwater to Kennedy Space Center to watch the Falcon Heavy launch and then a trip North to St Augustine and then back home the following day. Looking forward to calculating mpg on my Hybrid Lariat Lux.

Have fun my daughter was really bummed worse case I make a trip to Florida to catch one somewhere down the line I promised she’d get to see one since this one scrubed

Enjoy and hope Mav gives great mpg. I spent all day yesterday and averaged 44 mpg on trip of 8 hours. Love Mav
