I finally got to put my Maverick to some good outdoor use. I've previously used it to haul stuff around my dad's farm and that kind of satisfied the itch to do something outdoorsy, but finally I got to take it on its first camping trip.
My two sons and I ventured up to the North Carolina mountains for some overnight fun. Our trail ride in and out was pretty steep, rutted out, and quite narrow in some parts. Other places were grassy and soft, but the Maverick had no problems with any of it. Cargo wise, the bed fit our tent, packs, sleeping bags, fishing gear, chairs, and everything else we needed with space to spare. The boys said it was the best time of their lives. Thankful for my Maverick being a trusty part of the adventure.
