Well, after half a year of patiently waiting, my 2022 Ford Maverick Lariat just arrived at my local Ford dealership this morning. It was ordered in mid-September 2021 and arrived on March 16, 2022. It's a fully-loaded Lariat with the FordCoPilot360 package and Lariat Luxury package. It also features the optional 2.0L Ecoboost 4-cylinder with AWD. I am very thankful to have gotten this far considering that many others on this forum have not had the opportunity to retrieve their Mavericks with many not scheduled, built, or delayed into the next model year. So I fully realize the half-year wait is pretty generous considering the circumstances right now so I am very grateful. I am not rubbing it in by any means, I just wanted to show my appreciation.

Of course, I had to get the Area 51 color which is the best in my opinion. I absolutely love this color on the Bronco and Bronco Sport so it was a no-brainer to get it on the Maverick. Plus, this was this truck's debut color so that's another reason for choosing it. It looks so good in the sunlight and is just the right amount of boldness mixed in with subtlety. The interior is gorgeous with all the Navy Pier blue door panels, dash, center console and seats with the Desert Brown contrast trim and silver recycled material on the door panels and upper dash. I haven't driven one yet so this will be the very first time I purchase a vehicle without test-driving it. I've just been going according to the online articles. I am scheduled to pick it up this Friday which will give the dealer time to do a P.D.I., detail, and complimentary tank of gas. A more in-depth review will be coming out once I get more acquainted with it. I am beyond ecstatic! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Congratulations. It is really a beautiful truck and beautiful color. I ordered my FE Maverick in July and have just gotten my projected build date in April. I am hopeful to have it in May. I cannot wait either. Good luck, you will love it.

Looks Great!! You're going to Love it! There are a lot of features on the Lariat to learn about and play with, so you have many fun days ahead. Take pictures and videos and do your best to remember that new truck smell (y)

Congrats! Even up to this day, I still can't decide between Cactus Gray and Area51! I had to change the colors on my order a few times! I've seen them both in person and they're both look great!

I'll make up your mind for you, Carbonized Gray. LOL, ok, I'm kidding, I know that wasn't one of your choices, lol. You'll probably like it no matter which you choose. Both of those are pretty unique colors in my opinion.

To be honest, I like that color too! The Maverick looks nice in all colors! Kinda like an old 3390 Nokia phone. I wish technology is here where a push of a button can let you change the color of your vehicle!

Almost, they have a BMW concept where the body panels consist of a bunch of e-ink panels so it can make patterns and things on the fly. It's all black and white though, but wouldn't be long before they could do color. My only worry would be how much it would cost if a panel got damaged and needed to be replaced, lol.

I did that multiple times on the Build and Price configurator tool :D

As a former Nokia employee (started before flip or Smart phones existed) thanks for your purchase and helping pad my retirement account
