HoboYou beat me to it. I've been saving some cash to make a Hobo myself.
I would definitely be up for 10-20% more electric power even if I had to take more battery weight. Not even for performance sake just the one hill in my town that kicks me out of Electric is the bane of my commute. Low rolling resistance foam lined EV tires are going on once the summers wear out. I NEED to get into the sub 4L/100km zone, I've done it twice with perfect conditions.A lowered Hybrid will get slightly better mpg’s due to the aero benefits.
Ford needs to add a “performance/mpg+” package for the Hybrid. Lowering springs, aero body moldings, lighter wheels, and a bigger electric motor with an Eco Tune. Show it off at SEMA this year![]()
The wheels and tires I installed are lighter than OE, despite being 20x8.5 but the mileage still dropped slightly after I installed them. I didn't get low rolling resistance tires, I opted for longevity instead. The ride is quiet and the grip is great so I'll take the slight hit in economy.A lowered Hybrid will get slightly better mpg’s due to the aero benefits.

Tis likely tread width causing your loss. The wheels and tires I installed are lighter than OE, despite being 20x8.5 but the mileage still dropped slightly after I installed them.
This image is fitting for our Florida county and what I originally pictured in my head when @Cycopath mentioned Hobo lolI like puns and plays on names
- but this is what I imagine when I hear "Hobo"

Nope. They just attach to the bumper the same way the normal pieces do.Did you have to modify or fabricate any pieces to make it fit on the hybrid? I’d love to get that front bumper trim and fog lights in my lariat.
Functional. I ran the ground wires to the parking lights, ran each power wire separately to a dedicated connector that is pinned to the unibody, ran wires from the connector to the BCM pins 6 & 7 and enabled them in FORscan. Got a headlight switch from an F-150 to turn them on & off.Are the fog lights functional? If so, how did they wire/connect and how do you turn them on?
If they’re not functional - they still look nice!
Dude, he should print up a ton of those and sell them here. I didn't notice until the comments pointed it outA friend 3D printed them for me after he found an STL file.
