In another thread Ilikebike is saying we should ignore that confounded Ford email. He seems to know of what he speaks. I guess Ford just sends those out so we can get more gray hairs and worry lines.

I don't know who writes Ford's emails, but they must be experts in doublespeak.

The email states, "Your vehicle is ALMOST built." Then later it states, "We want nothing more than to get your Ford up on the line and start assembling it."

So which is it? Is it almost done? Or it hasn't been started?

I received the exact same notice, then a week later got a text from my dealership it was built and being shipped. My status on the web site is still saying in production.... Also War Eagle ! I am AU alumni !

I am glad to see the 2024's are being built and shipping.

I would like to ask this group's opinion on my 2023->2024 Hybrid order that seems to be getting close !

Background - I have the following:

- My Order ID
- VIN: XXXXX 01638

- Scheduled the week of October 16, 2023
- In Production status since October 20, 2023

- My window sticker is available
- The Ford Service site for the Module Build Data information shows them listed.

However, no built update showing up on the Ford Order status page since October 21, 2023 that is still showing to be in Production.

I reached out to the Ford chat for the first time and they provided me the following:

Thanks for holding Ernie, and congratulations on your 2024 Maverick! Your vehicle is currently in production, meaning it is being manufactured at one of our factories. It is in Ford Hermosillo Assembly, So the ETA is Nov-10-2023 - Nov-16-2023.

It sounds too good to be true and is not aligned with what i am able to see on the Ford Order Tracker . . .

Anyone have any experience or thoughts of the Ford chat reply is actually valid or a canned response triggered by the Production date of 2 weeks ago?

I got a pm saying mine was almost built last week, XLT Hybrid, Cactus Grey. Some kind of holdup, then my dealer sent me a message saying it was built and waiting to ship, but the Web site says in Production.. ???

I might be in the second trimester. You lucky dog!
