That happened to my wife years ago. She moved up in traffic then stopped but the distracted driver behind her who probably look down at his phone thought traffic started moving and rear ended her.
The take-away is don't creep forward unless the traffic has started to move because others will sense movement but not look up in time to realize traffic isn't moving yet. Boom!
Didn't you file a police report? Mandatory in Ohio.

Two questions (not related to the vid). 1) Is the color of your Maverick called Silver Metallic? 2) What cameras (front and rear) are they?

The color is Carbonized Gray Metallic.
The dash cam doesn't have a viewing screen, but it creates its own limited range wi-fi that you can connect to your phone - with the ability to switch between front & rear views. I don't bother with that. (I did when setting it up, to make sure I had a good view.)

I know some of the old timers on here who long for the old days of chrome and Steel dashboards.
Where you just hose off the blood and brains and go on driving it.
Crumple zones are for sissies and cost money.
