Wanted to show off some of upgrades on my 2022 Maverick lariat. I used the ole ZEP trick to black out the taillights and used a tint to smoke out the top half of the headlights to not reduce visibility. I also decided to add the black lettering on the back to make the Maverick pop. The last and perhaps most important step to top it off is to add the 245/60 r18 Venom Power Terra Hunter X/T tires on it. I also decided to remove the side steps that were included to give it more ground clearance. The tires have been great and I have no rubbing or modifications outside of just adding the larger tires. Let me know y'all's thoughts.

It looks nice, but given how easily a rear end seems to total Mavericks I wouldn't want the insurance inspector seeing that I intentionally dimmed the brake lights...

I don't think he dimmed the brake lights. He just used ZEP to get rid of the chrome inside the housing. It will then be the same as the housing as the Black Appearance Package.

Thank you, I had mis-read ZEP as VHT (As in VHT Nightshade). But he did put something on, the lights housing are visibly darker.

If your state doesn't require a front license plate, I'd probably take off that front plate bracket, make the front end just a little bit more handsome.
You can put the screws back in the holes afterwards to keep from having two random holes.

Do you notice any "lift" with the bigger tires?

You can definitely tell it sits a bit higher and gives you more clearance. The only downside is there will be a bit more road noise with the aggressive tires, but it really doesn't bother me.

Looks good, I would go with smoked or clear marker lights with Amber LEDs.

Like the look of the tires.
Had never heard of that brand and looked them up.

Great price.

12/32nd tread depth, 50,000 mile warranty and only 30 lbs in that size. That's the same weight as my smaller Wildpeak Trails in 225.
Nice.

Please let us know how they wear and perform in the future.
Thanks.

I had them on my old RAM 1500 and they held up exceptionally well. Definitely highly recommend.

The lights are not dimmed at all. You use a chemical degreaser called ZEP that essentially strips some of the interior paint. It is the same thing as the blackout package for 15 dollars.

Thank you for clarifying for me. I misread your post and thought you were putting VHT or window tint over the housing itself.
