That really sucks. Insurance definitely always seems to find a way to screw people over. Knock on wood, I have done plenty of aftermarket stuff to trucks in the past and never have ran into this issue with Geico Military.
The tail lights aren't dimmed I used ZEP a chemical degreaser. It's a super easy process for 15 dollars. It does not affect the visibility at all. It's the same thing as the blackout package.

You can definitely tell it sits a bit higher and gives you more clearance. The only downside is there will be a bit more road noise with the aggressive tires, but it really doesn't bother me.
