I installed a always hot cigarette lighter outlet up next to the gas pedal. My truck outlet only stayed active for 45 minutes then no more brakes and that wasn't good.
It was the wind noise that caused me to return them. If I need air flow I can lower the rear windows if it gets too noisy I can roll em up. Couldn't do that with the vents, had to pull over and take them out . Big PITA
I have the same issue with only one. Always the rear driver side. It always corrects itself before I can get to the dealer. I'm thinking the issue isn't the sensor itself but maybe in the head unit. I rotated my tires but the rear driver side still gets the fault. Hmmmm.
When scheduling service for my truck this morning I asked about getting the rear view camera recall. I was told the fix won't be available until sometime in the first quarter of 2025!
I didn't replace the gaskets, I just applied clear silicone all around the seam where it was put together. That was a couple months ago and it's been through heavy rains and the car wash with no moisture problems! Funny it seems that everyone's problem is with the passenger side as was mine...
I contacted Ryan with pictures of the moisture inside. He immediately sent me a new set FedEx 2nd day! This time before installing I sealed all seams with silicone.
I remove my Patriot from the brake pedal and out of the way. Then I set in the truck and start it letting it run for a while. Afterwards I reset the truck to Towing mode and re- hookup the Patriot.
