I was up there at lunch time and didn't see them so they must've come right after. Finally saw an Alto Blue in person too. Was that yours?

Got there just before 2, the hauler just pulling in. Mine was delivered Thursday. Carbonized Grey. Lariat. Really like it!

Cool. Hopefully you get scheduled soon. It’s worth the wait. We ended up ordering a XLT early July. As months past we were not sure if we would want, but after getting this one we are now 100% sure we want to purchase the XLT. Went into production this week, schedule to day was 3/11 and today got the built notice. Estimated delivery mid April.

Was just offered a Catcus Grey Lariat hybrid at Mullinax for $2,500 over MSRP. Have spray-in liner and Co-Pilot, but not Lux package. It was hard but I turned it down because I really want the Lux. If anyone is interested, call them quickly!

Apopka right?
Was there Saturday and noticed they had about 6 Mavericks. All were sold.

Yeah, this one just came in. My salesman called me. I was tempted but turned it down because it didn't have the Lux package. Believe it's sold already

I'm using Mullinax in Kissimmee... I've resorted to drinking and calling ford directly vs. dealing with anyone there. Completely misinformed and communication has been non-existent, even with the sales manager (whom insisted I was not going to see my hybrid order for two years)... Even Ford customer service laughed when I asked them if this was true. Makes me doubt if they actually put my order in correctly or if they're doing everything they can to actually get it scheduled at the earliest opportunity should the stars align.

My wife and I bought our mustang from there and it was a great experience.. This time around is starting out shaky at best.
I ordered mine there also, talked to sales today and told
me they have gotten 20 but mine is still waiting since August

If you continue reading through the thread, you'll see that I've given up and purchased a Prius instead (couldn't be happier by the way). I still got the "Important Update" email that went out the other day so Mullinax never took my email off the order. Still no sign of a build date yet.

I would wait. Get what you ordered, don't settle. My first choice was the Lariat w/Lux and I couldn't be happier. Our next one is the XLT w/Lux. My wife thinks that is the "sweet spot" on the Mavericks. We shall see.

I got a call last week from Mullinax in Mobile. He said they didn't have any available at the moment but was I interested in one and I said yes. He said he would give me a call when they had an XLT. I appreciate that he called even if they didn't have anything.

On another note, got a call this morning from another dealer who said they had one in transit and was wondering if I was interested. I told her yes and she said she would call when it arrived but they way things work out I am sure someone else will jump on it because it's a couple of hours away. I didn't ask about markups but I will if she calls back and it arrives at their lot. I'm not gonna make a drive only to drive back in my current vehicle. I have an order (no production date) so I can just keep waiting. The one they have doesn't have a bed liner but I can take care of that later anyway.

Ok, just an update (and this isn't about Mullinax) but it seems the Mav I got a call about was someone's special order. I believe the sales person was new and did not know the difference between a blue and green border on a sticker. I looked up the VIN and found the green sticker. When I contacted her back she said she didn't have a sticker so I sent her a screenshot with the green border. She also informed me there is a $5000 ADM on Mavericks so I said no thanks, I'll wait on my order.

On Saturday morning I called Chipola Ford and spoke with the sales manager about one on their website. He said that it was someone's order (confirmed when I saw the green window sticker). I asked him if they had mark up's on unclaimed orders and he said no, they sell for MSP.... As does Tallahassee Ford when I called them.

So I will just sit and wait for my order. If it doesn't get made I may just move on. My wife is trying to talk me into a Jeep Compass if the Maverick never shows up which I can get for about the same price as a Mav but I would rather have a truck.

Just joined the forum, I missed the chance to order a Maverick cuz I've never been one to order a new vehicle. I had a feeling it was gonna be a success and once I started seeing the first in person reviews on YouTube it went up to the top of my buy list.

I've learned a lot from browsing the forums and other sites. I could have never imagined the amount of shady practices and outright scamming some dealers are doing to their customers.

I have a Mullinax very close to me, so it has become the most likely dealer I would place an order for 2023

From my research while not having one on order and not being able to order one yet... I have learned the following:

1) numerous dealerships in FL are placing "on order / in transit" trucks as for sale in their websites and 3rd party sites... Presenting the appearance of having buyable trucks on their lot. I guess hoping to get a custom in the door and then sell them something else.

2) some dealers are posting the exact same vehicle (verified) by vin# for sale. I have seen the same truck listed for sale at over 5 dealers... Not even the same family of dealers. This seems borderline criminal.

3) some dealers may be adding exorbitant fees to ordered vehicles in order to kill the sale... Just so they can put them on the lot and mark up the price for an impatient buyer.

4) Ford seems to have prioritized customer orders which may further reduce dealer allotted inventories... This may incentivize the behavior in #3 above.

5) if you order, try and get a dealer signed and binding sales order.

6) be prepared to refinance asap if they won't sell without using a kickback finance company.

7) this is the only new vehicle that I have ever seen that actually gains value by driving it off the lot!! Used Maverick's for sale above $40k!!!!

Knowing what I've learned above, I think it may be very interesting when orders reopen this summer. Will customers in my position have enough knowledge and leverage to force more ethical sales?

I got the opportunity to check out a newly delivered Lariat FX4 in Area 51 (my color of choice) at my local Mullinax. It was listed for sale as a new arrival at $38,100. Pictures posted online were actually taken behind the dealership, not a stock image on a green screen. My intention was just to have the opportunity to view it in person. However, a weird little quirk happened as I walked up to it.... The salesman told me the vehicle had sold but I could go ahead and look at it. I then got to meet the new owners outside by the truck who informed me this vehicle was the one they ordered last year. I compared the vin# on the advertisement with the one stamped on the dash and it was identical. I showed the new owners the ad and they said "that's funny!" Allegedly they paid less than the advertised price, which is good to hear.

To me it was a little off putting seeing a vehicle advertised for sale that was ordered by a customer. IMO dealers should wait for the customer to decline the sale before offering it to anyone else or advertising it online.

Overall I think the truck looks great and Ford seems to have done a great job designing and building the Maverick... If only they could just figure out how to reign in their unethical dealerships.

Sorry for the long post, but I appreciate the wealth of knowledge in forums like these.
