A friend of mine just got his Mav hybrid. I’ve had mine over a month. We’re wondering if there are any Mav owners in the Lacey/Olympia/Tumwater are who would like to get coffee to chat. And learn….

Just an update. My XL is running great since wiring harness replacement. 1160mi —48.1mpg average. Just put in bed pad—Line-X is so slippery. Now I need to add Sirius-XM. Don’t want to use phone.

With luck, my XL hybrid will be out of the shop Monday or Tuesday. Had to replace the entire wiring harness. Been waiting for parts for a couple of weeks.

I’ve had that problem. My XL hybrid is a the dealer awaiting cable. Second stay at dealer.

Not blaming the dealer. I have another truck I was planning on selling. I’ll sell it when XL is working. No truck loaners.

Update. Today the dealer said it may take two weeks to get the parts. Ford sold me a defective vehicle and is taking its time to fix it. Meanwhile I’m making payments. Ford should offer compensation.

Got email from dealer. They opened up the issue with Ford. Ford Tech thinks the battery harness needs to be replaced. Who knows how long to get a replacement harness.

XL hybrid can‘t be started. At dealer for second time—in two weeis.

Well, XL’s back a dealer. Stopped for coffee yesterday. Came out and it’s dead. As soon as jump start hooked up, the dash lights up and it starts and runs.

Too quick to respond.

Picked up XL from dealer’s shop. They replaced a circuit breaker box, Replaced some battery cable connections. Seems fixed. I‘ll keep you in the loop.

Been a week at dealer. Waiting for parts. An electronic control union. More details when it’s fixed.

Picked up my LX hybrid Tuesday. Today it wouldn’t start. It’s now at the dealer. Radio cut in and out while driving, before it wouldn’t start.

A 51, XL, hybrid arrived at dealer. MSRP. Pick up Monday.
