MSRP inflated during Chip Shortage?

I'm not an expert in the area so i'm curious - is the current MSRP on the Maverick inflated at all due to the chip shortage? Will it change once supply catches up with demand, or you think it'll stay the same and it's just the dealers who will stop marking up as much when selling?

Doubt you will see official MSRP ever going down over time, but dealers can choose to sell for less than MSRP anytime. My dealer expects no Ford price increases this year, but likely 1 per quarter next year.
