How much heavier gu

I'm my experience, the heat plays a big part. Especially when the external temp gets above 107, or so. The battery doesn't get used because it can't charge/discharge safely at that temp.

I've also had certain gas make a big difference, too. It's possible that this is the primary culprit. Gas companies change the blend at different times of the year and this affects mileage. My best mpg ever was on ethanol free gas.

Lastly, I did experience a 1-2 mpg drop when I put on heavier tires.

How much heavier tires? I am looking at falcon sincera SN250 225/60/R18 29lbs 75k milage to replace OEM Michelin Primacy's 225/60/R18 24lbs 45k milage. SN250's are 5lbs heavier and about $60 each cheaper?
SN250's have 0.24" larger diameter also.

It will but how much who knows.

Yesterday I managed 4.1L/100km (U.S. 57 mpg) with the windows open, driving like a granny and pedalling to get it to switch back to electric on country roads. It goes up to roughly 5.1L/100km (U.S. 46mpg) on the same trip with the air on.
So the a/c does eat into the mileage numbers a fair bit, and in my case it costs 11mpg.
