I've had my 2022 maverick Hybrid for 2 years. I drive around 30 to 40 miles about 5 days a week. I mostly drive on a 50 mph street with a lot of traffic and street lights. My computer says that I have averaged 49.6 mpg over 14,000 miles. When I drive to costco on the freeway or downtown San Juan then I get less Mpg around 40 mpg. I drive to this far away beach to go wing foiling I usually get over 60 MPG as it is part way about 15% downhill, on the return trip I still get over 40 mpg. The ownership has not been perfect as I had to bring the truck in 8 times for the dealership to fix the No Start /No Gauges/ no power issues. The truck would not start probably more than 70 times. I got the dealership to replace the fuse box corroded from the factory, the cable between the DC/DC inverter and the car 12 volt battery and finally, after a lot of yelling, the 12 volt battery. I had to threaten to abandon the vehicle at the delieship and hire an attorney" Lemon law over this issue." My truck has spent over 5 weeks at the dealership. I leave in Puerto Rico which is awesome for a former surfer and fanatical wing foil enthusiast. They have been nice but had no clue how to fix one of these first builds Maverick hybrids. I had to show them the youtube videos. Since they changed the factory bad 12 volt battery I have had no problems. it has only been 3 weeks fingers crossed. I had to leave my Maverick on a trickle charger for 5 weeks now in Asia. My wife and I are adopting a newborn baby. I guess that i am no longer retired at 66 years old. I will have a lot less time to wingfoil. C'est la Vie.
