MOD: Red Mustang GT Start Stop Button installed

While sitting in a Ford Mustang I noticed they have a Red Start Stop button and I wanted it

After some Ebay picture searching, I noticed the connection is the same, so I ordered one.

Fair Caution without any modifications the Mustang Button does not fit flush but after some cutting and creating a spacer to 3d print I got it fitting flush like factory.

here is how it fits without any modifications

White Line is how much i had to trim to get it flush

After trimming I 3d printed a spacer to take up the gap so it clipped in flush

All done

Any creative seller go down this path yet? On, ignition, detonate, easy, contact, power, activate, engage, boom!…. All kinds of creative skins could be made.

How’d ya get the digital temp LED’s in the dual A/C buttons ?

these came in the earlier year mavericks … you can use one off a bronco but it would have the truck icon on the recirculation button.

How’d ya get the digital temp LED’s in the dual A/C buttons ?

I think the cut-off was the 3rd week of May '22 build date. I missed getting them by 4 days I think. Post covid supply chain restraints.

I swapped mine out to get the temperature displays. It came from a Bronco.
