I ordered mine the same day.... Finally getting delivered between June 24th and 28th barring no setbacks .
Is there an ADM coming your way at delivery? I saw my dealer on dealerater.com. Back in March a guy posted $5k ADM for the Mach E. They did it it to him on the day of delivery.

I do understand your frustration; When I ordered mine last August I was told I would get it no later than December. It arrived April 15th. In my case it worked out because I had more bills paid off and more of a down payment.
In October my dealer told me "about 8 weeks". I guess that was plus or minus a year. I'd get on their case more but I'll bet they're hurting too. I could really use this little truck, getting pretty anxious and wondering a bit weather it's going to happen- be bad if it didn't.

I guess I was lucky in a way, when I ordered my Maverick back in August the dealer basically told me that they didn’t know when it would be available. I stopped by every now an then if they heard anything, they said Ford didn’t tell them anything either. When my was built back in March and shipped again I knew more about my truck than they did. After about A week after it was shipped, they started getting communications that it was coming their way. They didn’t know for sure when it was going to get here until it showed up on a truck one day.

When I ordered my Maverick I was told by my dealer I would have it by Feb/March. Ford customer service told me April. It’s now the middle of May and I still don’t have a build date. How is this not misrepresentation?

Neither Ford nor my dealer had any contact til March. It would be 1 thing to update as things changed, but to go completely dark is unacceptable.

As the owner of many cars - no car changes your life.

I agree with everything you said. But this is a country full of people used to instant gratification. It's going to take a very long time to break this habit of having the car you want the same day.
I agree a car will not change your life. It will however replace a car that is breaking down. When I ordered my vehicle last year and was told Feb/March April at the lastest I was ok with just riding my current old beater car out. Now I still have no build date and the beater is becoming more and more unreliable. So while everyone assumes people are being impatient, some people don’t have the luxury of constantly being lied to by Ford.

Yes, it will replace a car that is breaking down. Also, any new car will do the same. Buy something else if you can't wait.

8 weeks is always quite optimistic for most any vehicle!!
Early on I can see dealers assuming the more normal 3-4 month time frame. But by September or October, we all knew that there would be a long delay. Probably just an uninformed salesman told you 8 weeks.

I would like to know when you ordered it. I don't know how any dealer can tell you when you will get one. With the allotment issues and chip problems. Only way to say when you will get for sure is when the truck shows up

A little digging would tell you people are still waiting from June last year.
Ordered my XLT hybrid with luxury package on 7/19/2021 still no build date and vin number. My dealer tells/showed me Ford has me at priority #2. We will see, still waiting!

Same situation but ordered in June. Sitting at Priority 2. Old Honda is hanging in there and I want the Mav but will look for something else soon.
