Picked up a tail gate assist from the dealer using my ford points

Added lasfit cargo bulbs and reverse bulbs. These things are bright!

Also traded my orange tray to a guy that has a xl for his black tray.

A little update. I didn’t really like the gloss black and matte black rear sticker badge so I took it off and wrapped the whole emblem in gloss black the got a gloss black with dark grey ford stick that matches the wheel color. Also used zep on my taillights to make the look like the BAP lights.

Also finally got some time to mess with my sub box. This is the first sub box I ever built plus the fact that it’s a weird shape but I’m happy with the progress so far. I had to use 1/2” mdf to get the sq ft I needed for my 10” sundown sd2. Just waiting on my circle jig to cut out the holes.

cut out the bottom of the plastic bin and put plastic trim back in

and last the trim piece that will go on top to finish everything off. This will be cut wider then the sub so the sub look sunk in alittle and also covered in navy leather.

Box looks good; how are you going to secure it down to the compartment so it doesn't rattle? Going to leave the box sealed or add a port?

Going to sound deaden the bin and the box fits pretty snug now so once I wrap it in the leather it should be an even tighter fit so hopefully I want really need to secure it.

Got the hole cutout for the sub and the cover piece. Also ordered some leather to cover it and will hopefully finish it this week.

Got the cover piece covered in leather. Wasn’t too bad to cover. I love the way it turned out.

Finally finished. I’m really happy with how it turned out especially for it being my first box I ever made. Just hoping it sounds as good as it looks lol.

Thank you for documenting all of your mods. They look great. I have the same matte black decals over the Ford logos and I am thinking of switching them out as well. Too dark.

I am in Phila area as well. Who did you use for the window tinting. That is on my list in the near future.

Slow process is better then no process I guess lol. Finally got around to getting the amp rack done. Might add one more brace to the left side and still have to sound deaden behind it but just wanted to mount it to see what it looked like. Next up is running the power, loopback harness and install speakers. Here’s some pics of the amp rack.

I like the tow hitch cover. It looks a lot cleaner than just leaving it open. Someone should make these covers available aftermarket.
