I’ve never owned Molle panels or thought about owning Molle panels. Usually when I see them, I think “oh, nothing useful here, what’s next?” So anyone want to change my mind? Like what is a “must have” item that makes molle panels worth the time, effort, expense and occupied storage space?

Some people would make use of them for work truck setups.
95% of them are for "overlanding" - AKA putting expensive jewelry on your "offroad rig".

What are the Tying Ropes for
What are the 2 connectors for
What are the reverse buckle Velcro ties for

Where do I use the screw gaskets? Both square and round?

I keep a folding recovery shovel, a survival hatchet and a kinetic rope under my rear seat. That prevents theft when you go into the grocery store. And while I have a Jerry can, I’ve never needed to use it. Even doing the Rubicon trail and camping on the trail, it still only used 1/2 tank of gas (in a JK wrangler). And would anyone do true overlanding in a maverick? I wouldn’t. I’m still just not seeing a must-have use for a molle system on a Mav.

This is our installation manual.You can install the mesh board according to this manual. Nylon buckle and binding rope are given as gifts to you. If you have a need to tie items, you can use our binding rope to attach to the panel, like this.The yellow rope is the towing rope for the trailer.

So update. I finally got the passenger side done. What a PITA!

So these weren't made to install over the drop in bed liner so that took a lot of measuring and drilling and screw ups.

Also wish the screws and washers were black, but it is what it is.

That photo is puzzling. You add a device with 100 little mounting spaces, then block almost all of them with one large item.

I see the purpose to be for use by street vendors where you'd want to hang 100 items in say, 100 holes. Or at least 10 items!

The number of holes are more for the flexibility of where you can put mounts. For example, say I want to mount a small 5 lb propane tank for when I'm out camping. I'd want enough flexibility between the mount and the MOLLE panel to be able to mount it where I want in the bed based on my setup and the size of the rest of my equipment (bins, shelters, etc.). These are things that the manufacturers of course cannot account for.

You also have to realize that the space between the wheel wells and side rails is wasted space. These panels help fill that space.

Thank you sir for making me laugh! I always chuckle seeing those "off road rigs" all dolled up cruising in suburban towns

I think the idea of these have merit.
But please show what you are doing with them in your Maverick. Show what you are attaching please.

I do have a hard tri-fold cover, which means items I store in there would at least be out of sight. But it's not that hard to pry open a bed cover. Even a hard top.

Convince me I need to have these.

I was able to install it just now and one of the panels seems bent, I might be overreacting though. Forgot to take a picture. Will upload it tomorrow.
