If price and gas mileage werent issues then the Nissan ALL DAY.
I bought a 2018 Frontier for $5,200 off MSRP. Bed was 6 or 8 inches longer. Was easier enter and exit maybe doors were inch or so wider. No one else I found claims better mpg on E85 but mine did the 4-5 times I used it.

I have a friend who has a new Frontier, it's a nice truck, but it rides very rough & is very thirsty, interior noise is very high, at 75mph you have to talk very loud, we used it to haul a double snowmobile trailer a couple times, it does this very well.
The frontier is a nice truck but in my view doesn't come close to what the Maverick has to offer. As long as you do not need to tow over 4000lbs and you are will to travel to get it serviced ( I will explain later). The Maverick offers easier ingres and egress, a better ride and handling without a body roll. Better mileage and a AWD that will automatically engage in case it senses wheel slip on the road, not so with the 4x4 on the Frontier. This makes it considerably safer on the road for you or your family. It being slightly narrower offers the doors to open wider to ingress and egress and helps to park in tight places. What has been posted significant less room and comfort in the backseat. I say this from personal experience a close friend has a Nissan Frontier. Even though I've mentioned the pros on the Ford Maverick the Frontier is a nice truck.

Unfortunately there are plenty of videos on u-tube here is one explaining the issues Nissan dealers are dealing with. It might shine light on why they are offering huge incentives. Even though they're are no close Nissan dealerships close to me. I would guess close to 2 hours. If it happened to be one that closed my friend is looking at a lot longer haul to get his truck worked on under warranty.
