Interesting comparison but I do think vehicle price should factor into the equation.

That's the one thing that irritates me in watching all these comparisons. Come on! This is a 20,000 - 35,000 truck depending on your trim level. No fair comparing this to a 40,000 - 65,000 truck. If nothing else they should be more up front about the cost difference.

That particular Maverick was over $37K they said if I remember right. That was the fully loaded $3K option radio with best available gauge cluster and everything. Its the best technology a Maverick can get.

Ironically, they would have scored a base Santa Cruz higher than the LImited. The base Santa Cruz has a physical volume control and wireless Apple Carplay.

They did ignore things though in the Maverick's favor. For example, the SC's screen is much higher resolution, with more colors, and the 360 cam is extremely sharp compared to the Mav's grainy low brightness screen with a pretty sad reverse only camera. That accounted for no points in this particular scoring system.

I sort of think they missed on this one. That said, it's their subjective test, so🤷‍♂️.

I think the order should have been #1. Tundra #2. Santa Cruz #3. Maverick #4. Frontier

The other trucks didn't have to make up a random cubbie to full space.

That said, sheesh, the frontier interior is not great. And I still prefer the Maverick interior to the Santa Cruz, even if I think it should win a technology comparison. I like buttons.

Also, let's remember, even they had issues with the non lariat Maverick system... I'm concerned about that.
