Looking now for the option to sell the Mav as is, $6,800 insurance got an offer from Carvana $18, 913, Vroom $15,802 and Saturday going to Carmax to see what they offer
Just start fresh with a new truck, won't be a Mav (even though I have a Hybrid on order but who knows when it's going to arrive)
Any thoughts??

Sell as is? I'd be surprised if insurance doesn't declare it a total loss, or is that what happened and you are trying to sell a salvage title vehicle?

No, until the 19 December the shop hasn't declared anything yet, I really don't see extensive damage to the frame just cosmetics

No, actually they got the parts under 2 weeks

Isn’t the BAM package available on Mav, oh wait, that’s the BAP..I hate seeing these pictures but like the CHP magazine we read in driver’s education I am mesmerized

I don't think that's the way insurance company receives the vehicles, missing rims front headlights....

And hardly worth the drive to GA from TX to make a swap before insurance gets it. But if he does, can I send a cracked left rear tailight

Why are all these Mavs being rear-ended ? Ouch-

A couple of theories;
1.) When ACC is in use, the brake lights do not come on to indicate that the Maverick is slowing. This is a huge problem on the Interstate for me. They only come on when the driver uses the brake pedal (I have verified this at night). I think that is a huge issue that Ford should fix quickly. If the truck is being slowed by the ACC by using the 'tranny' or regen the brake lights should come on.

2.) I wonder if the 'chopped' rear window fools people into thinking the truck is farther away.

3.) And I only include this because I'm trying to be thorough - - - people don't actually enjoy driving and are more interested in whatever shiny thing is currently distracting them. I hear you, what is the likelyhood of that happening!
