Maverick Tremor - Wheel Paint Color Change

Has anyone painted over the orange wheel accents on their Tremor? Is the rest of the wheel Carbonized Grey color? I personally don't love the orange, feel it's a bit goofy, and want to just match it to the rest of the wheel.

I kinda wish the orange went all the way around the circle. Would have matched my HPR.

Same here however I wish the color of the rims were just a shade lighter because I have a black Tremor.

I agree with this. It would not be easy to paint just the orange swatch in a way that was likely to hold up over time, and blend properly. Repainting the whole wheel would be better by far.

A decent alternative would be to plastidip the wheels. You can try one and see if you like it, then do the others.

I dislike all black wheels because you can't see any of the features in the wheel if you're more than a few feet away. I know they're popular and I know everyone with FX4 or BAP has them, and I had a set on my First Edition. But I didn't like 'em.

i know the ford website isn't super reliable for colors but when you select the tremor wheel and then the carbonized grey wheel they look very different colors on the website so I'm not sure. i believe its called "tarnished dark aluminum" i know this because im looking for the same color for tailgate letters and cant find them anywhere

then again this is the carbonized grey on the truck and they look almost exactly the same so its pretty inconsistent

After a couple weeks the wheels don't bother me any more in fact prefer it to the plain wheel photo above. The tacky Tremor decal on the tailgate didn't last past day one lol.

I agree..The orange looks goofy on the rim.. It's a look at me kind of thing. Other than that I like the Tremor design.
