175 miles from home I hit an Antelope that came out of now where on my blind side, must have been running full bore. He hit me square in the middle of the
License plate and grill area and he wound up on the opposite side of the road; Also, I had my Polaris 570 sportsman loaded in the back of the pickup. The damage was minimal for hitting an Antelope at 70 MPH, and it felt like hitting a brick wall. I stopped and checked to make sure he was dead and at the time only the check engine light was on. It wasn't until the next day, and I was closer to home that the service engine soon light came on and derated the engine. I plugged a code reader in and cleared the derate but the P0073 and P0299 are active so it'll have to be fixed first.
