Really get some frustration trying to talk to Quick Lane about a transmission drain & refill Not a flush . There is a procedure # 307-01B in the service manual . But all I get from the person is a price for fluid and filter . Fluid they say is around 16 quarts . Well from what I gather the fluid would be approx. 5 quarts . The filter is only replaced by splitting the gearbox open which won’t be done . What’s the price for a drain and refill ?

I think the OPs reference to Quick Lane is at a Ford dealership. Our local Ford dealerships have "Quick Lane" where they do "The Works", oil and filters, quick in and out. My brother uses it but I try and do all my own maintenance when I can.

Find somebody else. Find a local mechanic with good reviews and can reasonably trust. Stay away from the dealerships.

If you keep up with the drain and refills you should be fine without a full on “flush”. Every 30-40k. I think either way you’ll get mixed reviews whatever you decide to do. Some swear by flushes and some think it does more harm than good.
