Cleaning up the shrapnel from the week...
On to the weekend. Take care.
- This is probably covered several places elsewhere within this Forum, but...it's confirmed, 'ROVP' and 'COVP' are the same animal, with Verification the important word in each.
- Being obstinate, the Carbonizd Gray Lariate Lux with bells and whistles, including the Spray In Bed Liner (SIBL in Ford's view) will stay 'as is', even if the SIBL induces a delay. Maybe it'll mean something in the future when it's time to sell, stating "it has the rarely seen Ford applied SIBL".
- This SIBL may impact the Groundhog Day O/U for this Maverick to be driven off the lot. At time of writing Vegas hasn't adjusted the betting line.
- And, the entertainment quotient on the home-front has increased, a lot. The only reason this Lariat Maverick was pursued was to silence the noise at home (you need a new car, yours has 210,000 miles on it, it's not safe, have you thought about a new car, blah, blah blah). The Admiral's Ford Edge had 80,000 miles on it. But Tuesday, because a Service Light was lit, the car went in for 'service' and never returned. There's a new Escape in it's place and The Admiral is happy!
- So now there's an 'unsafe' vehicle (that isn't) parked in the garage that'll be perfectly fine in the meantime, waiting delivery of the Lariat...and a bit of sting to be rubbed in (carefully) in the meantime. 210k vs 80k, two different views, male/female. "Yes dear" works most of the time...
