No one is getting a 20 grand Mav anytime soon...
honestly even bare bones is over $20k when I went to the dealership

$19,995 + $1495 Destination fee + taxes ($1350) ($899) fees and registration which varies from dealership

$23,739 is the absolute base with no upgrades.

But I was told by Ford that deliveries of hybrids will start in December.

IMO, Ford wants the EPA to take their sweet time on the ratings, the hybrid standard was a total failure, they make more money on the ecoboost, the 20k price tag was to attract people then people would choose the Ecoboost ( pay more ) over the hybrid, that did not go as plan, so they want you to buy an ecoboost instead.
Conspiracy theory 😂

So if 12/8/2021 is the real OTBD then my (already built) Hybrid Maverick gets to sit in the desert for 2&1/2 months or more and rot before they pass it off to me. Great!

My salesman told me yesterday that the hold up was because they were missing components for the engine. I didn't even call BS. Just went home to wait so.e more. (We were at the deer to check out one they got in) loved it!
