2024 Maverick

This the second or third time I have posted this complaint on this site.

I purchased my Ford Maverick in the fall of 2024 in Mishawaka, IN. While I have been pleased with the platform, I have experienced several issues, including three recalls (brake light, turn light, and backup camera software issues) and recurring Powertrain Malfunction problems. Despite resolution at the dealership (2 Rivers Ford in Mt Juliet, TN), the issue has resurfaced after approximately one year. I appreciate the assistance provided by 2 Rivers Ford and do not hold them responsible for the ongoing issues. However, I am concerned about the safety of my vehicle, particularly given the recurrence of Powertrain Malfunction incidents, including two instances with my three-year-old grandson in the vehicle. What options do I have to address these concerns and potentially replace my vehicle? As a first-time Ford customer, having previously been a loyal GM buyer for over 50 years, I am disappointed that these issues have arisen with my Maverick.

These are the insadents

Do you know what specifically is causing the warning? I had one last year and it was a turbo wastegate actuator that had gone bad. They replaced it and no issues since. It could be a lot of things. Some minor, others not so much. 😬

This is a warranty issue that should be addressed by your dealer. If they have not resolved your issues to your satisfaction, you will need to discuss it with them, or find a new servicing dealer. There is really not much anyone can do here to resolve your concerns.

1. Go to your local auto store. Ask them to pull the codes. Post here.

2. Find another dealer to work on your vehicle.

Well, I am back again. Just got another power failure.
What Is Happening?
The engine control system has detected the two accelerator pedal position sensors do not

agree on the accelerator pedals actual position. This fault may disable the engine Start/Stop feature (if present).
What Should I Do?
Have your vehicle checked by an authorized dealer as soon as possible.

In July I contacted Ford customer service and informed that I wanted to File a lemon law complaint. They told me that it could not be done due to how many miles were on the truck. They agreed to give me the 75,000 miles extended warranty for free. I know with this issue I may be hiring a attorney
