I purchased the Stainless/Chrome version from Ford. Extremely Pleased. I like the thickness, way better than a thin sticker version IMO.

Good to know. My letters will arrive via USPS on Monday. I used Ford pass points and want them to last.

Went with the Etsy black reflective lettering, it was easy to install. Like the look from day and night.

Forgot to post the fact the chrome lettering looks awesome from every angle. Let them sit for five minutes and pealed and polished the edges. Can't wait til traffic comes up behind me in the dark.

showing 48 degrees outside, wondering if that's too cold to apply the tailgate letters?

I installed mine this past weekend with it being 50 degrees outside. I did it around 3PM so my truck had been sitting in the sun for most of the day, they stuck on just fine. Make sure to clean the area really good before install and clean the inside of the letters on the tailgate with alcohol right before you put the letter one.

Anyone use the soap method? Where you spray soapy water on so you can move them around. Been below freezing here for the last week. But supposed to hit mid 40'S soon.
