or does it charge the battery while being flat towed?Curious, does the Maverick accumulate miles when being flat towed?
.
Haven't towed mine yet, but the C-Max Hybrid does NOT accumulate miles being towed, and I expect the Maverick will be the same.Curious, does the Maverick accumulate miles when being flat towed?

Up to you to add a charge wire (for the 12V battery). The HV battery is OFF while towing. Nothing in and nothing out.or does it charge the battery while being flat towed?
Mine did not accumulate any miles I also started it or ran it to drive and reverse for a few then back to neutral tow every hours or when I stopped for gas in the RVCurious, does the Maverick accumulate miles when being flat towed?

I am still waiting for my Maverick to arrive but plan on using it as a replacement tow vehicle. I am curious why you chose the crossbar style versus the direct connect. My current toad has the Roadmaster crossbar but I was thinking of going to the direct connect on the Maverick.I just had mine installed going to try it out tomorrow. The install looks good less cutting than I thought.
That totally makes sense, thanks for the reply.I will let Don11 tell you why he went with the crossbar style...
I went with it because it raises the towbar connection point a LOT! I have to run a drop hitch on my motorhome to keep the towbar within the 2" level difference Ready Brute states is required. So, when I switched to the Roadmaster I went to the crossbar style so I could go back to a 4" drop ( from a 6") receiver. That keeps the receiver from dragging which also damages the towbar.......
Crossbar adds a moment to getting ready to tow. But you can simply leave it in place while unhooking and going to dinner for instance. So other than looking ugly, it works very well for what I wanted it to do.
