I called a few dealers in December to see if I could get the Eco for MSRP and one agreed so I ordered from him. I would call dealer until one agrees. If you could save 4K its worth it to travel for the truck to another state.
For sure I wouldn’t mind but believe me when I tell you I have called over 30 dealerships around the east coast and they either don’t have them at all or the mark up is well above 4k. You got very lucky and I’m happy for you but I don’t think I will be that lucky lol

I thought Horsham was not making that deal for 2023. That’s great news - i will relay that to my grandson who will be looking to order a stripped XL Hybrid for college.
I don't know for sure if the offer will still be around by the time order banks open up for the Maverick, I just saw on their website that the 3% is still listed for 22/23 MY.

I'm going to guess you'll prefer the premium feel if the santa cruz.
I would stay with the Santa Cruz because the dealer has to low ball you on trading it in, in order to flip it. Also, you would have to drive the Maverick for years to make up the 4K in gas savings. Wait and order a Mav in about late 2023 when the Santa Cruz depreciates, and you get a better value on trading it. The Cruz has nicer features then a LXT, such as push button starting etc. and you will still have the latest trent with a cool looking, garage friendly pickup! There is a Mav for you, the 23, or 24, will probaly be a nicer version then the 2022's.

My Favorite method of appraisal is to ask yurself, "what could I sell it for"?

Hi everyone! Im new to the group and would like some advice. I just got a call yesterday saying a customer order didn’t go through for a maverick hybrid XTL with luxury package. The hybrids are extremely hard to get right now. They are doing a 4k markup! Do you think it’s worth the mark up or should I just wait it out? I just don’t know if I want this opportunity to slip since I don’t know when I will be able to get a hold on another hybrid. So my question is would you pay the 4k mark up or is that just crazy talk?! Lol thanks!
What color ?

Whether or not 4k is crazy is totally dependent on the person and their financial situation, need for a new vehicle, etc.

4k on an XLT isn’t as bad as some of the other horror stories we’ve heard about dealers but it’s not nothing. Eye of the beholder.

I wouldn’t, but I just got mine at sticker. Waited 9 months. Love it, and in eco mode, I get mid 50’s mpg. We will order 2 more when it opens up in August. Replacing a CR V and use the 3rd for the kids to drive. Phenomenal truck. Silent no rattles, radio is great and handles very well.

I ended up buying it! And I don’t regret it lol and honestly I will probably order another once the order banks open and maybe I’ll switch or give this one to my wife we’ll see.
