If my wife is to near to the Maverick in her Bronco Sport, it steals her phone every time, lol.

Sounds like you're the one complaining. The OP was regarding how to not have Bluetooth connect to the Maverick when they're in their other car. That's a legitimate concern/curiosity.Cheese and Mice! Can the Wah! Wah's! on here find anymore trivial dog doo to complain about.
I don't know... I'd be concerned. It sounds like your radio and computer are plotting against you. They could be planning to take over the world one day? Seriously though, the radio sends out radio frequency energy which the laptop can detect with its antenna causing it to wake up.Well, it's more of a curiosity than a concern if you ask me. I'm curious about a lot of things I'm not concerned about.
Example: you know how laptop computers go to "sleep" when idle to save power? If I key up just a 5 watt 2-way radio in the same room it magically "wakes up" the laptop.
Curious. But not a concern.

No. If it's Android Auto, it wants to run audio through Bluetooth. With it plugged in and using Android auto it will keep turning it back on.Sounds like it's programmed to Data Mine.
