Yeah, I don't even need two cars haha I like both but the Badlands has more features than the Lariat Tremor so I prefer the BS BL
I'm not in the market but if I must sell one car, it'll be the Tremor

It seems that the MAVERICK is the best truck when it comes to customer satisfaction. We may have some minor quibbles. . But by and large most of us are pretty satisfied with our choice
I think most truck buyers are hands on people. We find ways to deal with things that just annoy us, so everyone finds, and fixes, something to there liking. I'm happy with my "Little Friend" the way Ford built it!

Oh, ok. I see how a person could love it more if they didn't actually need a truck.
My 2021 BS was great fun. I bought it in December 2020 because the Mav was not out yet.

I hate the estimated maintenance/repair cost estimates on a new vehicle model, especially when there are variants in that model with significantly different histories. There's zero transparency on how these numbers are calculated, only that it's a "proprietary algorithm".

Scoring the overall Maverick model makes little sense.. The Ecoboost and Hybrid engines are essentially different models in the context of reliability.

Applying potential 8F35 transmission problems on the Hybrid or 12V battery issues on the Ecoboost (and I'm guessing here, because neither Edmonds nor CarEdge even give a hint as to what drives their scores up or down) is dumb.

Although past couple years have been a bit of a shit show for truck powertrain reliability in general - makes Maverick reliability look like the Corolla of pickups.

It's hard to see a lot of 2023-2025 fullsize truck owners happy about spun crankshaft bearings, 10 speed transmissions lurching, brand new Nissan Titan engines can't get parts for, etc, & the $20,000 repair bills.

Good day

I can tell you what I know from being a Consumer Reports member for many, many years. (I know, some hate on C R, and that's fine, you don't need to tell me again, unless you feel the need...then of course, proceed!).

I find CR to be another source of info to review, but not the sole source. Never believe one source of information, even if it is the one that is telling you what you want to hear! This pertains to many things in today's mixed up world.

Several times a year as a member of CR we get questionnaires filled with many questions on what we own, purchase as well as what our experiences are with said items. It is everything from your truck/car/suv to fridges and stoves to vacuum cleaners.

Questions like cost, where you got it, how well it works, how long it lasts, as well as how much you spend on normal maintenance and also repair costs.

A big one is how much you spend on said item to keep it working, and your satisfaction with it as well as your fuel mileage etc.

So that is where CR gets a lot of their info. They break it down, and put together their numbers for their mag and reports such as this one.

I hope this helps, as it isn't much more than our feedback. Good feedback and you get better, more accurate reports and predictions. And vice-versa, same as a computer...bad info/data in, bad info/data out.

I hope this helps,

Andy

Compare Apples and orange. $10K more for a stripped down Bronco vs. a fully equipped Maverick with 4K towing and Hybrid transmission.

I almost bought a 2024 Bronco Sport Badlands in Eruption Green....had paperwork signed and all I needed to do was go in the next day with the check and sign some final documents. However, on my way home I started to second guess my choice as I really wanted a hybrid....next day, went down to dealership, cancelled the BS deal and ordered the Maverick Lariat hybrid in Eruption Green I am driving today.
