Can someone explain to me the appeal of the black roof? I understand the white roof (i.e. land cruiser) and it's relationship to decreased cabin temperature... but black is just because people prefer the looks right?

Good point, Lappo, about the color. My Mazda dealer had a metallic-colored Miata in the showroom window that would go from black to blue to green, depending upon the angle of the sun. Weird.

As for those vinyl stickers (graphics)... I was not crazy about the selection... Curious if there is a suggested means to washing and protecting those graphics to avoid the fade out over time from the elements and sun (live in Florida, but this will be garage kept 90% of the time.)
but I definitely wanted the 1st Edition - I think that one of my G-children may benefit on the future value. I suppose I will get a lot of push back comments... but this is a game changer by a leading Truck Mftr and all the others are starting to scramble to put something similar together. I see this as akin to the Mustang, but not with that much aplomb and a following... regardless overall I like the value to the point of investment.
