Maverick EcoBoost top speed

The other day I was out, cruising in my eco-boost, and got the urge to see what would happen once it hit the governor limited top speed. So I floored it and immediately jumped up to about 90. Then I continued to push the pedal down until it was just over 100 when I saw the flashing lights of a state trooper in my rearview mirror. I figured I’d gone this far let’s just continue so I kept the pedal down until I hit 110 and then it ceased to accelerate any further. I figured OK, time to take my medicine. So I pulled over and when the trooper came to my window, he said he said “You better have a damn good reason as to why you were going so fast and then didn’t pull over immediately when I flashed my lights? I stopped to think a minute and figured, all right he’s got me, so what if I got to lose. So my response was, “Well officer, a few years back, a state trooper ran away with my wife. When I saw your lights at high speed coming after me, I figured you were attempting to bring her back”. I thought he was going to lose his cookies and then walked away saying have a nice day, sir.

I like the one where the lady gets pulled over and the trooper asked her do you know why I pulled you over? She says yes, so you can raise money for the Troopers ball. He says Mam, Troopers don't have balls. Then he realized what he said, walked back to his car and left!
