Now for some reviews. The shift knob cover fits right on as a friction fit against the rubber. It came with double sided tape. But that was not even necessary. Super easy, paint optional, but I think it looks better with the black paint on it IMHO. Now it as least matches the rest of the knobs on the truck.

I bought an ecoboost emblem. Wanted it on the opposite side of the tailgate from the AWD emblem. The easiest way to do this in my opinion is with 2" masking tape. I ran it straight across right under the AWD emblem. Then measured the AWD emblem to the side of the tailgate. Added that measurement to the left side with some tape. Peel and stick evenly with the tape. This is an easy way to ensure the emblem will be level and evenly spaced when installed.

Maverick polished stainless steel door sill plates. I have been looking for just the right sill plates for my ride. These popped up and were perfect. Decent heavy gage stainless steel. Very classy looking. They use 3M automotive high bond tape that's already applied to them. I had issues with it not wanting to stick. I wiped the door sills on the truck with a cloth dampened in MEK. Wax and grease remover works fine too. The plates still wouldent stick. I did an old autobody trick and wiped the exposed sticky part of the 3M tape with the MEK dampened cloth, and it activated the adhesive to stick just fine. I used tape to line out the edges and measured and marked so both sides are positioned in the same spots.

Final thing for the day. The ever lovely Gentex KIA auto dimming mirror with homelink. I do not have a homelink garage door opener on my garage door, but someday I might. The plus is the plain old auto dimming mirror will swap right in and work on the same plug. I unpinned the connector to add my wires instead of using the supplied posi taps, and filed a slot in the cover for the wire. Now I have to do a compass swing in an empty parking lot to calibrate it.

I gouged the corner of my rear bumper backing into the garage. Pisses me off. It's small, and thankfully on the RH side where I rarely look. Of course the cost of bumper covers is astronomically high at $600 - $650 each. So its gonna stay like that until the prices on them come down to a reasonable price.

I really like the look, but I'd be worried about that metal getting so hot here in Arizona! Could turn into an unpleasant experience trying to shift into drive!

Just lay something over it when you park it somewhere. I'm in west Texas it gets hot here too. The black absorbs the heat as well.

Genie 9-12 screw drive old skool. As old as my house. Damn thing still works great. I have key chain remotes on both sets of keys.

I just noticed your post. Wow that was from last november. Yes I have a 67 and a 69. Both are the coupe, not a fastback.
