Gently used Brit spec Focus RS MK4 leather wheel install. $75 USD plus shipping. A steal of a deal from Great Bridge Parts in Merry olde England. Dude originally wouldent sell it to me. He said according to his parts interchange that it would not fit a 2022 ford maverick. I told him it was because of the Eurospec buttons. I told him I was going to swap in the US spec buttons and it would be a bolt on. Anyhoo, this truck is "lego truck" everything just snaps together. Easiest wheel swap ever. Hardest part was carefully popping apart the bezels to swap out the switches. I used a 15/16" socket on the wheel bolt.

I bought the coverado covers but did not care for them. I like the OEM cloth covers actually along with the orange. I needed something extra to cover and protect the drivers seat for when get really dirty at work and dont want to ruin the stock upholstery. I scotch guarded the seats already.

Came up with an inexpensive solution that works for me. Extended length bath towels at walmart for $15 each in dark grey. I hammered in grommets for the head rests, then cut a piece of 1/2" steel conduit tube 11" long to shove in sideways between the upper and lower cushions to hold the towel tucked in at the bottom.

The great part of this is I can periodically remove these easily and run them through the wash, or take them off quickly if I'm not in my work clothes and want to use the upholstery the truck came with, and sold them up for storage under the back seat.

I made 2 of these but keep the second one folded up on the back seat, and set my lunch box on it. If needed it can be used on any of the other seats in the truck. Got a matching hand towel for the top of the console.

He has a few interesting designs. I'd offer to help you out, but I'm up in Delaware so shipping would be a thing. Check your local libraries or any local maker groups to see if there is anyone who would accept a commission to print these for you. The license on all these models do allow for someone to sell the prints. Make sure that whomever prints these for you knows that they are for inside a car so need to be printed in a temperature resistant plastic (PETG, ABS, ASA, PA, etc). A plastic like PLA (which is the most common plastic used for hobby 3D printers because it is the easiest to print with) will deform on the first hot day in the car.

For anybody liking the rims I used and the ford center caps. Heres where I got the caps for the rims I used. The ones i used were 63mm. I bought them from rileyexpress on ebay.

Wash, wax, and detail. 70° today in west Texas. I applied a bit of this to the front of the hood, headlights and bumper cover a few weeks ago to test it against bugs. You can see the straight line between waxed and unwaxed with just water sprayed on the hood. Yes even with the 12° cold snap, these little things dont die. 303 graphene nano wax. Bugs dont stick. A dampened cloth, and they come right off. My 10 year old helped me apply and buff the wax. I spray the wax on a dampened soft cloth, and buff it on. Then use a soft dry cloth to buff it off. Was looking at it under florescent lights in my garage. No swirls at all. No clay bar. Just wash, and wax. Wifes car is next.

A little farting around on my truck today. Made velcro attachments for my catch can drain hoses. Also made velcro attachments for my Wile E. Coyote figurines. He is my hero dontcha know. I also installed my radio trim plate. This spot always looked unfinished to me. I used a sharpie to paint in the edges so the light grey could not be seen at the edges of the new trim bezel. I think it looks more finished off and ties the radio to the screen better.

My redline hood strut RH mount cannot be tightened tight enough that it doesnt rotate. Probably because the washer bottle mount is also part of that attach point. Temporarily I stuck a piece of heater hose in there to prevent it from rotating and hitting the hood strut. I will remove the bracket and tack weld a small plate in place of the heater hose to prevent rotation in the near future.

Anybody find any smoked/black side marker housings of medium to high quality on the after market? Yes, I know I can Niteshades or Paint or Vinyl or buy a new lens but I'm trying to look at all options.

That radio trim looks really good. Also, good idea darkening the edges with the sharpie to keep the light gray from showing around the knobs and buttons.

Part 3 of the bed light wiring install. For now I wired the leads just twisted together and with shrink tube. This part isnt permanent. The lights installed and the wiring under the truck is permanent though, unless I get a wild hair and decide to eliminate the plug ins under there. The rest of the wiring I coiled up, and zip tied it before stuffing it all inside the square stake pocket hole for now.

I put the LH cover on with the switch just sitting in the corner. Again this part is not permanent.
I plan on installing a master shut off switch, surface mount blade fuses for the power panel, and bed lighting, as well as a mercury switch inside the tailgate so when I open the tailgate the bed lights automatically come on. This is a future down the road project.

I love the idea of adding the switch to turn on the lights when the bed is opened. I was curious how you planned to do this since I believe I've read that the power to the flexbed only stays on 10-15 minutes after the truck was running.

You could add a plunger type of switch to the GROUND side of the light.

I will be adding a peel and stick mercury switch inside the tailgate no moving parts, no drill holes. Power on for 15 minutes after you shut the truck off, I also believe that when you unlock the truck it provides power there as well. 15 minutes is plenty of time to unload your groceries from the back.

Nice build. I like it, very neat and tidy. I also have a his and hers set of Mavericks. My cactus grey BAP just got delivered and my wife has a Black FX4. I've got my lowering springs on order, but I probably won't get it lowered until spring. I've got to ask, what brand of auto start/stop eliminator did you install? I've searched Amazon, but I'm only finding ones for the F-150 and the full sized Bronco(it states that it won't work on a Bronco Sport). I hate when I'm at a stop sign or short light and it shuts off.
