I am wondering if anyone has tried this with a Ford Maverick. Mine is in production right now so I can't try it myself.
I know you can go to 4D Tech and other manufacturers and buy a stop/start eliminator so that the engine won't shut off every time you stop or use the on or off switch.
On an F150 you can take a trailer light receptacle plug (just cut one off an old wiring harness) and plug it into the trailer light receptacle in the back of the truck. A very easy try especially if you have an old wiring connector laying around in your garage. It makes the truck think it is pulling a trailer and disables the stop/start mechanism. You can pick one up for a couple bucks.
If someone has tried this or wants to give it a shot let us know if it works that would be great!
