Unless I am badly mistaken the 2025 XLT does have a front camera, located by the rear view mirror. Used for several things, one of which is the pre-collision feature.

When in doubt check owner's manual!

Thanks very much. I was thinking the 360 camera feature but you are right…the camera is needed for the pre-collision feature! I had a momentary lapse of reasoning…more accurately a “seniors moment! 👍

Yes you have a front camera, it's located by the rear view mirror

Reminds me of when I drove a Dodge Dakota and the "Service 4WD" light came on. It was a factory 2WD truck.
Depending on the model year, that might have been the least of its issues. A friend of mine had one, and it–to be VERY diplomatic–tested his patience. I can't remember the model year, as this was quite awhile ago now.

It is below the rear view mirror. Make sure your window is clean in that location.

I get that message when it's been cold at night and the windshield has frost on it. I have co-pilot 360 on my 25 AWD Hybrid. Got the message this morning when I pulled out that the "pre-collision assist not available"

Exactly the same messages I received. I guess with this vehicle you don’t drive away until you have thoroughly cleared the windshield of snow and ice rather than just jumping in and drive away creating a blizzard behind you. lol

Nah. It drives just fine with the pre-collision stuff disabled. We drove for decades without these things.

It has a front camera by the rear view mirror. It’s super sensitive front or heavy morning dew will interfere with it

Yes. My 2025 XLT gave me the same warning, but only twice.
On another note: I have read about sooo many problems with Maverick's, that I'm anxiously awaiting a small PU from A RELIABLE Japanese manufacturer. I may sell mine sooner than they come out.

Other than that, the clock spring, both front wheel bearing assemblies, and the factory "rear wheel ABS only" (how does that even make sense? Wouldn't you want the front wheels to not skid?), the truck was mechanically pretty solid. I waxed the truck religiously and then didn't for about a year, and what do you know, the clear coat bubbled in several places.
