My truck left AZ yesterday and this morning was in Santa Fe NM headed toward Illinois. This map let me see the general direction it would take as well as give me an idea of a time frame. I hope it helps you.

Mine is still in Tucson AZ since it arrived yesterday Dec 2nd @ 8:18 AM.

What is the Destination/ETA for arrival that UP stated?

Mine gave a cryptic response of: Destination Industry Dec 11th @7:57 AM

Not sure why mine will take 9 days to get from Tucson AZ to Dallas TX as you could drive that distance in a day.

Neat to see the map. Looks like my Mave will have a straight shot from El Paso to Chicago. Hopefully that means a shorter delivery time!

They are waiting because there is a train crew shortage, it’s crazy! Trains are way longer then they used to be

Here is BNSF map. There is not a rail system that goes to Santa Fe NM, If your truck in in Santa Fe it could be a long time getting to you!

If your truck is in Santa FE NM it is not traveling by rail. You should be concerned.

Rail is very different. It could take two or more days just to schedule passing through the dual tracked NS & EW rail crossing at Fort Worth. UP closed the hump yard at FW because it was too small to handle the now AVG LENGTH UP train of 8200 feet (in 2020). West of El Paso the main line is single tracked so the trains on that track have to pull off and park on sidings when another train is traveling in opposite direction. I do not know what the average miles per day per rail car is. There is a port of entry at Midlothian, Texas. Will your truck's rail car have to be spotted there in order to be "imported" unloaded and then trucked to your dealer?

o_O 8200 feet = 1.55 mile long train.
