MagnaFlow 11225 (muffler only installation)

After some research this was the cheapest and best option for me, the sound is not ricey at all, it is very deep and when you step on it it just sounds great. I think that being 2024 it helps since it doesn’t have the big resonator, maybe this new small patch one doesn’t restrict the sound much (that’s my opinion)

I was very surprised, was expecting the usual coffee can rice burner sound. This Magnaflow has a nice subtle and reasonable in taste sound. Not rice burner at all. I'm an old geezer, wouldn't necessarily replace a perfectly good factory muffler with it myself but would install it when needed. Good Choice and Work by the OP imo.

What are your impressions at WOT, or during a 'hard accel'?

I'd really like to see/hear some drive-bys to get a better impression.

The start up, idle and ~3k revs sound better (than stock).

I ike it more under hard acceleration because of the combination with the turbo.

I would go a bit louder, yes, but between 1.8k rpm and 2.2k this one is loud enough.

All in all it is way better than stock which sounds very bad in my opinion.

If you are doing it to make it sound super sport it won't because well it s a 2,0t, but if you do it to not sound awful like stock yes I recommend it 100%.

I got a Q's for the 2024 maverick Lariat Tremor is the factory pipe diameter exactly (2.25")? Or is it 2.50"?!
I can't find that info

well Mine is 2.25, and it is the same engine so I would guess 2.25 too

I actually also thought of Borla after installing it too. I think Borla would Be better if you care about Cabin noise, I’m not saying there’s drone but you definately hear that MagnaFlow deep tone between 1.9k and 2.2k inside the cabin.
