Since I don't have a magic 8-ball to tell me if I'm going to get my maverick in production. I thought I'd ask the next best thing. So I'd love for some opinions one the following situation:

I called my Ford Dealer that informed me that I am now on the top of the list for a maverick. The 2 people in front of me had their orders pulled for production. I ordered a hybrid, lariat, lux package, and all the bells and whistle (moonroof, spray in Berliner, copilot assist). I have a priority 10 code which could mean nothing but wanted to get everyones thoughts... Do you think I get a production build in 2 to 3 months or much much longer.

I don't know they didn't tell me. I know they didn't have any roll over orders from 2022 model year.

If yours is a new MY23 order placed when the order banks opened in September, you have a whole lot of us that are supposed to be in line in front of you for orders placed back in 2021. You may get one, but with what you've got on the order I think you're in for a long wait.

Well, December, January and part of February seem to have production weeks and VINs assigned for orders. If you are on top of your dealer's list and he has allocations, maybe March? April? ...after all the 22 cancelled and rollover orders are done? It's only guesswork, tho.

How many do you think is "a whole lot"?
Well, the rumor is that there were about 7,000 orders that had VIN #'s and scheduled production dates that were cancelled and re-entered by FORD as MY23's. These orders are supposed to be the first ones considered for production. Reading through the posts here, a good number of those orders are getting VIN's and dates - but there are still orders (like mine) that have not been scheduled. Once these are all considered, the next in line are supposed to be the MY22's that had to be re-entered by the dealers as MY23 orders. I have no idea how many of those there are. Then once all of those have been considered, the new MY23 orders placed in September will be considered. Who knows whether FORD will actually hold to this plan, as they've seemed to change the plan about every week. So if the OP's order is a loaded hybrid, it could be a good while till it's considered - or it might not be considered at all, in which case the OP will have to put in a MY24 order if they ever re-open the order banks. Or switch to an EB.

Not exactly what I meant. All of the country's rollovers AND the cancelled VINs are being given priority at Ford (especially the cancelled...prioritized by Ford...it was up to dealers to properly prioritize the earlier batch of rollovers that were re-ordered in September). When those get out of the way, the new 2023 orders can get done. The November/December 2023 builds were the lucky folks as they got in before the rush of the older orders being sorted out by Ford.

Seems pretty simple to me. If you are next on your dealer's list and at priority 10 then your order will get looked at the next time your dealer has an allocation. Then if Ford has the parts to build your truck you are good to go. Even with your build being hybrid, etc I think you have a very good chance of getting built soon. Doesn't have anything to do with MY22 rollovers because your dealer doesn't have any.

This is not accurate. The rollovers that did not have VINS are NOT being given priority at Ford.
That's NOT what I said. I said Ford told the DEALERS to prioritize them over the new orders but FORD left it up to the dealers to do it. According to Tim, the suggestion was that the DEALERS place the rollovers at "10" and new 2023 orders placed at higher PCs (11-19). Hence "Up to dealers to properly prioritize". I'm damned glad Ford took responsibility for cancelled orders...Ford SHOULD have made the same prioritization effort for the rollovers, but let the dealers screw it up.

...

And again, Ford scheduling is blind to a new Sept order vs a Sept reorder that was originally a 22. They are not given priority from Ford.
True. Priority (10-19) was left completely up to the dealer, and from what I saw, it didn't happen as Ford thought it would.

Not sure what you are arguing. Rollovers were supposed to be placed in the front of the line in September, but were not in many cases. Cancelled orders WERE placed by FORD in Priority 2.

If I were in charge, and I'm not, I would have had the Rollovers placed somewhere between 3 and 9, where the dealers couldn't combine them with a Sept 23 new order, leaving room for the cancelled orders that Ford surely knew might be coming.

I'm number three on my local dealers list and the two ahead of me are hybrids. I'm hoping my ecoboost gets the nod soon.

You are demonstrating a lack of fundamental understanding of how the priority codes work. ...
OK. Sorry I didn't recognize you at first. SimonMore, Pad Benny, MiniTrucknuts, UKPat and now this one. Don't you get tired of being banned over and over? I'm just going to ignore you. See you on your next iteration...
