Im on that same boat, I would love to add them to mine but I'm afraid I'd mess it up trying to install them.

They are super easy to install (the raised ones anyway) I don't see how you could mess it up honestly.

Go with the black matte letters, not the glossy. The matte matches the plastics, and look more uniform.

Your tailgate looks great the way it is. The shadow incognito look is so much better than the in your face lettering everyone else seems to need to stick on there. Also, the cover for your 4 pin receptacle looks good. That was our first accessory we added. So many Mavericks I see are lacking that and they look like something fell off, which in reality did (Ford left it off).

Are the strobing 3rd brake lights legal? Don’t know about Canada so I’m gonna check.

I first noticed the strobing 3rd brake light on a Phoenix, AZ Police Suburban (3 lanes away from me) and decided I needed to have one in the Maverick. Anything to NOT get rear ended. Works fine, but in using Forscan there are some error codes stored for brake light bad/open, but nothing noticeable on the dash. Got Xotic from Amazon.

It is cool to have others appreciate our trucks, and we help them realize there are options out there for them that aren't bro-dozers....very fuel efficient and fun as well!

I have added complimentary letters on our tailgate as well.

Between them, the tail lights and strobing 3rd brake light, we haven't had anyone hit us yet while they admire our truck...fingers crossed that continues.

I used the strobing bulb from Fanteli (I have had no issues with the light, and I believe it comes as a pack of two...)

I do believe this is the one I ordered. This is the cost on the Canadian Amazon site, so price may vary depending on your location.

At the same time I changed the 2 white lights that are encased in the same fixture and light up the truck box.

I have read threads here where the original halogen bulbs have started melting the plastic lens cover when left turned on too long, so I switched them to white led lights as well. I ordered them from Amazon as well.

The fixture is removed, so a good time to do it all at once.
